Leader of the Pride is a very special award at New Day. A student who receives this award has fully committed themselves to the relentless pursuit of excellence. It's about personal responsibility...setting goals and dedicating the time and energy it takes to meet those goals--no matter what setbacks or obstacles get in the way. A Leader of the Pride is chosen by how well they ROARRRR! Represent Outstanding Achievement in Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic, and behavioR. Leaders for the 18-19 school year are honored below:

We are proud to showcase the talents of our students. James created a video game using Scratch. He spent several weeks developing the game and recently had the opportunity to show his fellow students how to play it.  The game is challenging, but very fun to play. If you would like to play 'Red', click here.

We have some young journalists among us at New Day. Congratulations to Karley Miller, Aronley Miller and Hannah Ormsby for getting published in The Daily News. You can expect to see more from these talented students at New Day in the coming weeks.
